Job description
• Responsible for maintaining and improving Corporate Health and Safety programs with aim to ensure compliance with current and future legal, customer and corporate requirements
• Manages regular strategic review of EHS in the EMEA Region and provides appropriate objectives and programs to improve overall EHS performance to defend against future liabilities
• Provides leadership and direction to site location´s management teams
• Leads a team of highly trained EHS professionals to implement the Corporate SMS and Fatality Prevention Programs
• Tracks metrics and drives Health and Safety improvements and performance in the EMEA region
• Leads by example the priorities and manages the implementation of Health and Safety management programs
• Establishes the priorities and manages the implementation of Health and Safety managements programs
• Manages all Health and Safety regulatory reporting requirements
• Hold Managers and Supervisors all levels accountable for the Safety Performance of their operations
•Represents the company on Health and Saftey affairs with external elevant parties ensuring adequate response to all regulatory and customer issues
• Provides support to selected Corporate Environmental , Health and Safety initiatives with Global application
•Conduct annual safety management system audits to erify continuing compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements
